What is the process for a parent(s)to regain their parental rights?
A claim must be made to the entity having physical or legal custody of the newborn infant or to the circuit court before whom the proceedings involving the newborn are pending.

The parent(s) must prove they in fact are the biological parent(s) thru DNA testing.
The Parent(s) should be instructed to contact the Department of Children and Families to initate their claim.
